The job description and the responsibilities outlined below are general guidelines only. As each Family’s needs and requirements are unique and different, the specific expectations and job responsibilities should be initially discussed during the interview and later included in the Family/Employee Agreement.
HOUSEKEEPER - Responsible for cleaning and /or maintenance duties of the home.
Brief description of what Housekeepers do:
- Detailed cleaning including dusting, vacuuming and floor care
- Make the beds
- Change linens
- Polish the furniture
- Handle laundry and ironing for the family
- Grocery shopping and light cooking
- Care of silver, crystal and other fine or fragile items
